Future Forest
The Future Forest feature at Grand Designs Live London 2008 invited visitors to come along and make their pledge to improve the environment, which VELUX were delighted to partner. This bespoke built feature straddled either side of the walkway in the Design Arcade, with walls lined with packets of seeds. Visitors were invited to take a packet of seeds and in its place make a pledge of commitment to reducing their carbon footprint. For all of the 14,721 pledges made, at VELUX we made a donation of £10,000 to the Woodland Trust, the UK's leading woodland conservation charity.
